About Lori

Upon graduating from Florida State University, I worked for the Department of Children and Families in the Federal Funding Division. It was during this time that I had my first taste of instructional design. I value the time I spent working for the State of Florida developing and administering statewide training and creating tools to equip field workers for greater efficiency and increased job satisfaction.

As a Preschool Director at Cullman First Baptist Church, I managed and trained staff while maintaining our facilities, promoting the program, administering state guidelines, and providing quality service to our families.

Now, as a graduate of the Instructional Design and Technology Master’s program of Samford University (Birmingham, AL), I enjoy working as an Instructional Designer for UA Online at the University of Alabama. Collaborating with instructors and my colleagues on the instructional design team to develop quality online courses are the best parts of my job.

Personal My husband Bobby and I live in Cullman, AL, where we have raised our four children, Luke, Josh, Anna, and Leah. In my free time, I love long walks in the sunshine, Cary Grant movies, Disney trips, and spending time with family.
